Joy, sadness, surprise, fear, disgust, anger \u2014 these six basic emotions each carry their own special meaning and value.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Joy: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It whispers: \u201cThis is good for me.\u201d It motivates you to repeat the experience and draws you closer to others.
